Dana Corp. said that it has sold three of its businesses for undisclosed terms as part of a restructuring. The Toledo-based auto parts maker sold Tekonsha Engineering Co. of Tekonsha, Mich., which makes electric brake controls; Theodore Bargman Co. of Albion, Ind., maker of exterior illumination products; and American Electronic Components Inc. of Elkhart, Ind., a maker of sensors.

The companies employ nearly 700 and had combined sales of $81 million in 2001. The businesses were sold to The Riverside Co., a private equity firm with offices in New York.
