Rouge Industries, Inc. reported net income of $5.3 million, or $0.24 per share, in the third quarter of 2002, an improvement of $14.0 million or $0.63 per share from the second quarter of 2002. This result is also an improvement of $51.6 million or $2.32 per share from the third quarter of 2001.
