> Hou-Min Chang of North Carolina State University has received a $249,387 Multi-Disciplinary Research Grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center to support research intended to ensure global competitiveness of the U.S. South through enhanced forest productivity. The research seeks to develop genetically superior trees for industry by identifying appropriate traits and incorporating them into new breeding strategies.
