> AaiPharma Inc. (Nasdaq: AAII) of Wilmington recently enrolled and dosed the first group of patients in its pivotal Phase III clinical trials for ProSorb(R)-D (diclofenac) pain product, which had promising results in recent Phase II/III studies for analgesic activity. In addition to other positive data in those Phase II/III studies, 72 percent of the patients given ProSorb(R)-D after the removal of impacted molars rated the medication as a very good or excellent pain reliever after a six-hour period.
