BIO 2003 pavilion sponsorships still available

BT Catalyst,  Feb-March, 2003

Several companies have signed up to be a part of North Carolina's first pavilion at the BIO 2003 Trade Show in Washington, D.C., June 22-25, but there are still some affordable slots available.

Organizations need to act quickly to secure space. Sponsorship opportunities are available for North Carolina biotechnology companies, CROs and service providers. Sponsorship opportunities for biotechnology and biomanufacturing companies include gold-level sponsorships of $5,000, silver-level sponsorships of $3,000, and bronze-level sponsorships of $1,500.

The North Carolina Department of Commerce is spearheading this effort that will make it possible for many companies to have a presence. The 1,000-square-foot pavilion will portray the diversity of the state's biotechnology capabilities through a concept that optimizes the opportunity for participation by biotechnology companies, CROs, academic institutions, economic development organizations, government agencies and forprofit service providers.

The NCDOC, in conjunction with the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and NCBIO, is coordinating the participation of organizations from within North Carolina's biotechnology community, and has also planned a reception to be held during BIO 2003 that will provide additional opportunities for business and economic development.

For more details on specific sponsorship levels and benefits for biotechnology companies, CROs and for-profit service providers, visit the pavilion Web site at www.ncbiopavilion.com, or contact Bill Bullock at NCDOC at 919-733-2360 or bbullock@nccommerce.com.
