Update your company's info at Biotech 2005

BT Catalyst, March-April, 2005

COMPANIES LISTED IN THE North Carolina Biotechnology Center's popular online directory of the state's biotechnology industry are urged to update their company information at Biotech 2005. Biotechnology Center staff will be on hand at the annual conference--May 24-25 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel near Research Triangle Park--to help companies enter new information quickly and easily.

"This directory is accessed by about 33,000 people throughout the world every year, so it needs to be kept up to date," said Barry Teater, director of corporate communications at the Biotechnology Center. "Because the directory is mostly self-reported, it's up to the companies to manage their information. We urge company representatives to stop by our booth at Biotech 2005 for a quick and easy update."

Companies are provided a user name and password so they can update their records at any time. For information on how to be listed or to update your information in advance of Biotech 2005, please contact the directory's administrator, Rachel Zielinski, at 919-541-9366, or visit the directory online at www.ncbiotech.org/ncindustry/directories/companies/codir.cfm.> The directory lists more than 450 biotechnology companies, contract research and testing companies, service providers, and device and life-science related companies in North Carolina. It is the second most-visited page on the Biotechnology Center's Web site.
