United Therapeutics Corp. (Nasdaq: UTHR), with facilities in Research Triangle Park, has appointed R. Paul Gray to its board of directors. He will serve as chairman of the audit committee. Gray is currently a director and the CFO of Surgical Safety Products Inc. of Sarasota, Fla.
