> Viamet Pharmaceutical, a Research Triangle park biotechnology company targeting metalloenzymes in the fields of infectious disease, inflammation and oncology, closed a $4 million Series A financing round. The financing, to support the rapid development of Viamet's metalloenzyme inhibitor programs, was co-led by new investor Hatteras Venture Partners and founding investor Intersouth Partners, which previously provided seed funding for the company.
