Xanthon Acquires More Space

BT Catalyst,  June, 2000

Xanthon Inc. of Research Triangle Park has leased a 14,000-square-foot manufacturing facility at Park Research Center in Research Triangle Park.

Xanthon, a genomics company with patented technology for the direct analysis of DNA and RNA, has begun up-fitting the building to meet its initial product manufacturing requirements. This requirement process will begin with beta-site product evaluations in the fall.

The new manufacturing facility complements a 6,000-square-foot building that Xanthon recently leased for its engineering and software group. In total, the company now uses approximately 25,000 square feet of space, which includes the original 5,000square-foot product development laboratory. All buildings are located at Park Research Center in Research Triangle Park.
