LipoScience of Raleigh has entered into a multi-year agreement with LabCorp of Burlington to offer its proprietary NMR LipoProfile® blood test, which uses nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to measure the number of atherogenic LDL particles that build up in the arteries and cause heart disease

LipoScience of Raleigh has entered into a multi-year agreement with LabCorp of Burlington to offer its proprietary NMR LipoProfile[R] blood test, which uses nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to measure the number of atherogenic LDL particles that build up in the arteries and cause heart disease.

LipoScience also has entered into a collaborative agreement with Mayo Clinic to validate the clinical utility of the LipoProfile test as a tool to measure cardiovascular risks.
