Bob Ruscher has been named executive chairman of the board of directors of Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Nasdaq:SLXP) of Raleigh, vacating his role as president and CEO of the company. Carolyn Logan was named to assume these leadership roles, and will also serve as a member of the board.
