Westpac Banking Corp. has chosen to outsource its mainframe, mid-range computing and desktop services through a 10-year contract with IBM Global Services Australia, a joint venture between Telstra Corp. Ltd., Lend Lease Corp., and IBM. Telstra will provide IT network and telecommunications services through a five-year contract.
