* Google, the Silicon Valley Internet directory company, has signed a deal with Sprint PCS to become the default search service on the company's web-enabled phones. Google already has signed deals to provide a similar service to NTT DoCoMo and another with Vizzavi, Vivendi Universal and Vodafone's wireless portal venture.
