CommunicationsWeek International, April 1, 2002

The German regulator RegTP has set the price that Deutsche Telekom can charge to resellers for access to last-mile DSL connections. QSC, the only operator that has reached an agreement with Telekom, will pay [epsilon]4.77 ($4.19) per month, compared to the [epsilon]14.65 that Telekom originally wanted to charge the competitive operator.

Meanwhile, the German incumbent said that it will take a year longer than expected to achieve its debt reduction target, due to the failed sale of cable assets to Liberty Media Corp. (CWI, 4 March 2002, p. 3).
