Correction to the Telecom Top 100: Due to an error that arose from using quarterly results instead of half-year results, Norwegian operator Telenor was ranked in the wrong position - News in Brief - Brief Article - Statistical Data Included

CommunicationsWeek International, April 1, 2002

Correction to the Telecom Top 100: due to an error that arose from using quarterly results instead of half-year results, Norwegian operator Telenor was ranked in the wrong position. It has now moved up to 39th place in the revenue ranking and 19th place in profits (based on the average exchange rate for 2000), and other other operators' ranks have been adjusted accordingly.

The top 30 solvency and liquidity charts remain unchanged. The full, updated results can be viewed on our Web site, http://www.totaltele.com/whitepaper
