Nokia beat analysts' expectations but still posted a 63% drop in fourth-quarter net profits from a year earlier, down to [euro]450 million ($395 million) from [euro]1.2 billion. The company also recorded [euro]735 million in restructuring expenses, writedowns and goodwill amortization in the quarter. Net profit for the year was [euro]2.2 billion, down 44% from 2000.
