Financial: Telebyte Reports Record Q3 Revenues - Company Financial Information

Telebyte Technology, Inc. (TBTI) reported Friday the best 3rd quarter revenues of any in the Company's history. Revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 1998 were $1,551,228, as compared to $1,480,196 for the similar period of 1997. This 5% increase is due to a broad-based demand for the Company's products, in particular the Company's lightning protection line.

For the nine months ended September 30, 1998, revenues were $4,178,147 as compared to $3,739,257 for the similar period last year. This represents a 12% increase for the nine months ended September 30, 1998, Net income was $281,520 or $.18 per share as compared to $147,783 or $0.10 per share for the similar period last year. Net income for the quarter ended September 30, 1998 was $160,016 or $0.10 per share as compared to $156,329 or $0.10 per share for the comparable quarter in 1997. Joel Kramer, President, commented that the revenue increase appears to be across many of the product lines of the business with lightning protection enjoying the largest percentage increase. Fiber optic products, as a group, also posted gains. Telebyte has just initiated an advertising campaign for its entire fiber optic product line, as well as introducing the Company's first MDSL (Multi-rate Digital Subscriber Line) modem for corporate customers and Internet Service Providers, ISP's. Telebyte supplies its products to industrial automation companies and is expanding its product line of connectivity devices for factory environments. Furthermore, the Company is working on advanced models of its wireline simulators in order to enhance its position as a supplier of xDSL wireline simulators and related test equipment. Telebyte Technology, Inc. is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of premises interconnect data communications equipment for copper and fiber cable.
