The new program includes two service packages designed to help service providers cut costs on Internet infrastructure, such as Internet bandwidth, Internet Data Centers (IDCs) and 24 x 7 personnel. Service providers can take advantage of Exodus' leadership and expertise in managing Internet infrastructure so they can focus on growing their business. In addition, the new ISP offerings can improve customer access to the content hosted on the Exodus network.

According to a recent eStats study, it is estimated that the number of Internet users in the United States will nearly double from 47 million in 1998 to 85 million by the year 2000. Service providers are learning that a key component to expanding their business is to guarantee smooth and efficient Internet operations to their customers. Instead of investing in capital to build IDCs and acquiring Internet bandwidth, service providers can easily take advantage of the resources already in place at Exodus.
