Piezoelectric print technology - Ink Jet Coders - Brief Article

Food & Drug Packaging, Dec, 2001

The LegiJet Model ML256 ink jet coder uses piezoelectric technology to print crisp bar codes, text and graphics at 200 dpi on porous and non-porous substrates. Its twin printheads operate in tandem to print in heights ranging from .06-1.4 inches at speeds up to 200 feet per minute. The ML256 can be programmed with a PC and can print up to 25 lines of code. Internal clean up is done with the system's built in pressurized solvent canister.
