The F160 machine vision sensor combines dual cameras and high-speed processing to deliver four times the capture speed of existing competitive systems and from two to 10 times faster image processing speed. The proprietary Quest Optical Character Recognition (OCR) program allows the F160 to recognize many types of characters, adapt to fluctuations in character size and shape and achieve a higher level of discrimination among similar characters. Together, the speed and OCR capability make the F160 sensor suitable for many high-speed pharmaceutical packaging applications.
