Labeler incorporates RFID at point of shipping

Food & Drug Packaging, March, 2005

The 3600RW label printer/applicator prints, validates, writes and affixes RFID labels at up to 30 labels per minute. It eliminates the need for pre-printed RFID labels and does not require writing to the transponder before the point of label application. The read/write head inspects each transponder at label application and immediately writes to the accepted labels with real time information and then tamp-blow applies.
