The Combo closure, a combination metal/ plastic cap, allows manufacturers to switch the packaging of hot-fill products from glass to polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers. The closure features a floating metal disk with a tamper-evident, breakaway polypropylene band. The metal insert offers good oxygen barrier protection and, because it is free to move within the closure, it provides lower removal torque, making the Combo easier to open than traditional metal closures. High-quality lithographic printing is available to help increase brand awareness.
