Domino products provide in-line human readable and bar code printing, using both scribing (steered beam) laser and ink jet technology. All EAN/UCC formats are available including Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) limited and stacked with composite, as well as Data Matrix, to barcode NDC number, lot number, expiration date, and serial numbers.
Personal care solutions
In a market where product appearance is critical, Domino has a range of coding and marking products developed to meet the industry's severe challenges. The DSL-series scribing laser continues to be the industry leaders' laser of choice when high speed and high quality coding are demanded.
Optimized for print size, the A-Series Pinpoint produces totally legible text at heights below 0.8mm (30mil). The A-Series FreeFormTM option produces the ultimate in high-speed print quality: print resolution ten times higher than conventional inkjets. A full range of inks, including UV, IR and security-tagged fluids, provide for optimal substrate and application match.
Medical devices solutions
A-Series ink jet printers offer a variety of opaque and dye based inks that can mark a wide range of colored substrates. Domino also offers FDA-approved inks and an ink approved for insertion into the human body, commonly used in catheter marking applications, for example. The A-Series boasts the industry's only true auto-flush system, which allows the printer to be easily maintained.
The S-series C[O.sub.2] lasers have the smallest laser heads available, making for simple integration into existing machines and shielding.
Food solutions
Possibly more than any other industry, food producers provide the greatest number of challenging applications for coding suppliers. Domino has a large array of solutions to cater to these diverse needs. For primary coding, inkjet solutions include an IP66 (NEMA 4X) printer and a range of inks that includes thermochromics for steam-sterilization indication, inks that penetrate through surface condensation and inks designed to wash off during manufacturing.
Beverage solutions
The quality, reliability, and capability of its laser coding equipment has positioned Domino as the supplier for laser coding equipment to the largest breweries and water bottlers in the U.S. The recent introduction of the S-300B laser has broadened Domino's product offering to include a specific laser wavelength and power for high-speed, hole-free, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle coding.
Carbonated drinks manufacturers can achieve maximum production capacity with a Domino A300SE printer solution which eliminates printing problems caused by high levels of sugar or vapor in the air.
