A Canadian school district is considering color coding all foods sold on school grounds for nutritional value

Food & Drug Packaging, Sept, 2004

A Canadian school district is considering color coding all foods sold on school grounds for nutritional value. The policy under review by schools in Abbotsford, B.C., about 35 miles southeast of Vancouver, would assign "green" to nutritionally beneficial foods, "yellow" to foods that have both benefits and drawbacks and "red" to foods with little or no nutritional value.

The comment period on the policy will end in late October.
