Bioscience company Metabolix Inc. has received an Advanced Technology Program (ATP) award from the U.S. Department of Commerce's National Institute of Standards and Technology. Metabolix will use the $2 million award to develop a commercially viable process for producing bio-based chemicals from renewable agricultural products.
