Home Depot intends to further expand divisional operational structures over the next two years, during which time the company expects to open 367 stores. Arthur Blank, the company's president and CEO, disclosed Home Depot's plans to open divisional offices in Boston, and Detroit. Buying offices in Seattle, as well as Atlanta, will be converted to divisional offices.

Currently, the company has divisional offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, South Plainfield, N.J., Tampa, Fla., and Toronto. It also has a buying office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, that eventually will become its South American regional headquarters.
