Fastenal settles labor dispute

Winona, Minn.-based Fastenal reached a preliminary class action lawsuit settlement agreement with a group of assistant general managers. The company will pay $10 million to resettle claims of employees who alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as state labor laws in California, Oregon and Pennsylvania.
