Kennesaw, Ga.-based Leeds Building Products will purchase the assets of San Antonio Lumber, which will be merged into Leeds' yard in nearby Zephyr Hills, Fla. Company officials saw this deal as a "major step" to increase the company's president in the Tampa Bay market. Raleigh, N.C.-based Carolina Holdings acquired two yards -- in Panama City.
and Hudson, Fla., near Tampa Bay -- from Pennsylvania-based Fagen's Building Centers. Carolina now has six yards in Florida. (6/28, 6/29)
