James Funke, the Pittsburgh-based company's chief engineer, received a Special Recognition award for development of standard test specifications for surge-protective devices for LV/AC power circuits. The award was bestowed by the Power Engineering Society of IEEE, the industry's largest technical professional organization with more than 360,000 members in 150 countries.
