Erico Inc. of Solon, Ohio, introduces its Cadweld GN connection kit to assist in Wire-to-ground rod connections. The kit contains all tools and materials needed to make 60 Cadweld connections, including mold, handle clamp, weld metal, flint igniter and cleaning supplies in a carrying case. The kit can be used on rods with "mushroomed heads," and multiple connections can be made on a single ground rod. The Cadweld GN connection kit can be specified for connecting #6 or #4 solid copper ground wire to 1/2-inch, 5/8-inch or 3/4-inch ground rods. Replacement molds and weld metal kits are also available.
