Solatube International of Vista, Calif., introduces one-piece flashings for its tubular skylight product line. The new flashings are stamped from an aluminized steel sheet, which, the company says, is twice as strong as aluminum and resists corrosion. The company says the one-piece design eliminates the possibility of leaks, guaranteeing an even more reliable installation. The pitched steel flashings are designed for various roof types, including asphalt, shake, slate, metal, fiber cement, cement tile, clay tile, simulated shingle and foam.
