Home Channel News, Dec 11, 2000
> The Quebec-based retailer, Canada's fifth-largest in sales, held a grand opening two 123,000-square-foot stores in the Toronto suburbs of Cambridge and Scarborough on Nov. 30. The stores include 30,000-square-foot garden centers and stock 55,000 items. As it was opening these stores, the company found itself denying having any immediate interest in acquiring the 56-unit Revy Home Centers, which the Toronto Star reported has been put on the block by its parent, West Fraser Timber.
