Caterpillar Lift Trucks, Houston, completed several updates to its 15,500-lb. capacity diesel-powered lift truck, model DP 70. As an option, a new-style cab -- featuring low noise levels, isolation mounting and improved styling -- is available on this model. With an emphasis on durability and easy maintenance, the dashboard, steps, front and rear fenders, hydraulic oil and fuel tanks now are bolted to the frame structure.
Its minimum outside-to-outside fork spacing also has been reduced from 27 inches to 14 inches.
