> Philips Lighting dedicates classroom at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lighting Research Center. On Jan. 15, Philips' president and CEO, Larry Wilton, presented a plaque to the Institute for the Philips Lighting Application Classroom. The company is also funding a scholarship and will award $10,000 per year to a faculty-chosen graduate student in the college's Masters of Science Lighting program.
