Custom Building Products expands capacity with new plant - Brief Article

The Seal Beach, Calif.-based manufacturer and distributor of tile installation products earlier this year opened a manufacturing plant in Frankfort, Ind. The plant, on 32 acres, boasts the most advanced cement and powder packaging technology in North America. The equipment provides ingredient dosages that Custom claims are accurate to one-tenth of a pound.
The totally automated plant, Custom's eighth, opened officially last Oct. 20 with 56 employees, a number the company expects will expand to 250 within three years.
