Investors buy Harrison Paint

Home Channel News, April 16, 2001

The Canton, Ohio-based paint supplier, whose prior parent company, Perry & Derrick, closed all of Harrison's paint stores last year, was acquired recently by brothers Patrick and Mark Lauber, two local turnaround specialists who will serve as the company's CEO and president, respectively. The company will be managed by Harrison employees, led by Thomas Schmidt, who has worked for the supplier 20 years and most recently was its vp and general manager.

Harrison Paint, which resumed full production last December, sells product to stores in 27 states. The purchase price was not disclosed.
