Pro Group names top member and vendor

The Englewood, Colo.-based wholesaler marketing group named Bostwick-Braun, the Toledo, Ohio-based hardlines wholesaler, as its distributor of the year. Pro also named Cleveland-based Oatey Co. as its vendor of the year during its spring Executive Conference in San Diego last month.
Bostwick-Braun's s chairman and CEO, Richard Smith, was presented with Pro's Lifetime Achievement award. Pro also gave the company its "Top Gun" award for signing the most dealers in the first quarter. The distributor had signed 36 dealers, the number that Bostwick-Braun would normally sign in a year.
