S. Korea's external liabilities drop to 145 bil. dlrs

South Korea's total external liabilities stood at 145.43 billion dollars as of the end of February, down 1.6 billion dollars from January, the Finance and Economy Ministry said Monday. Of the figure, the long-term external debt amounted to 114.91 billion dollars, 79.0% of the total. The short-term external debt to be repaid within one year totaled 30.52 billion dollars, 21.0% of the total, the ministry said.
