Key Korean stock index up slightly

SEOUL, Feb. 29 Kyodo
Share prices on the Seoul stock exchange were up slightly Tuesday on the rise in the Dow Jones Industrial Average to above the 10,000 mark, reports Yonhap.
The key index gained 1.14%, or 9.37 points, to close at 828.38 after hitting the 840 mark during the session.
Volume totaled 275.7 million shares on turnover of 3.4 trillion won.
Advancing issues led declining ones 451 to 377.
Hyundai Electronics Industries rose limit-up to 17,900 won on strong buying by foreign investors.
