MANILA, Sept. 27 Kyodo
The Philippine peso recovered slightly against the U.S. dollar Wednesday, closing at 46.195 from the previous day's closing rate of 46.245, the Bankers Association of the Philippines said.
The currency opened at 46.100, and traded within the range of 46.100 and 46.250 before the close.
Traders said the peso was lifted by the central bank's intervention in the market and the relative strength of the Thai baht.
