GENEVA, May 17 Kyodo
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday issued a travel advisory against non-essential trips to China's Hebei Province due to the continued spread of SARS, raising the number of areas on the list to eight.
The U.N. health body has already issued advisories for Hong Kong, Taipei, and China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Beijing city, Guangdong, Shanxi and Tianjin provinces.
The warnings advise travelers to consider postponing all non-essential travel to the areas.
