Asian Games: Japan gets 2nd shooting silver medal

Japan won its second shooting silver medal at the Asian Games on Wednesday when the men's team finished second in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol event.
Teruyoshi Akiyama, Tomohiro Kida and Shigefumi Harada finished with of 1,721 points behind winner China, which scored 1,738. Kazakhstan was third on 1,720.
The team medals are awarded based on the combined number of points the shooters collect in individual qualification. Akiyama and Kida finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the six-man final won by China's Liu Zhongsheng. Harada did not make the final and finished 16th.
Yoko Inada, Yukari Konishi and Michiko Fukushima won the silver medal in the women's 25-meter pistol team event on Tuesday.
