Sri Lanka's Kumaratunga to visit Bangladesh

DHAKA, April 16 Kyodo
Sri Lankan President Chandrika Kumaratunga will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday on a two-day goodwill visit to Bangladesh, the government said Wednesday.
Kumaratunga will hold talks with Bangladeshi President Iajuddin Ahmed, Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and Foreign Minister M. Morshed Khan.
Foreign Ministry officials said Kumaratunga's visit is mainly aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries and promoting trade.
Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have annual trade worth about $10 million.
