Thai prime minister to visit Myanmar this week

YANGON, Nov. 20 Kyodo
Thai Prime Minister Gen. Surayud Chulanont will visit Myanmar ''in the near future'' at the invitation of his Myanmar counterpart Gen. Soe Win, state-run newspapers in Yangon reported Monday.
Surayud will arrive in Myanmar on Thursday, diplomatic sources said.
It will be his first visit to Myanmar since being appointed prime minister by the army after a bloodless coup against Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra in September.
