ISLAMABAD, July 20 Kyodo
Three civilians and a security man were killed Friday in a suicide bomb attack in Pakistan's tribal area bordering Afghanistan, security officials said.
The suicide bomber rammed an explosive-packed car into a paramilitary security check-post on a road in North Waziristan Tribal Agency, the officials said.
Six people including three paramilitary personnel were also injured, they said.
Pakistan has been hit by a series of retaliatory bomb attacks after a siege and assault by security forces on Islamabad's Red Mosque compound where militant Islamists barricaded themselves inside earlier this month.
At least 103 people were killed in the assault.
