BEIJING, April 5 Kyodo
Top North Korean nuclear negotiator Kim Kye Gwan arrived in Beijing on Saturday ahead of talks with his U.S. counterpart in Singapore next week.
The North Korean vice foreign minister flew into Beijing on a regular flight from Pyongyang. He had no comments to reporters.
Kim is scheduled to meet with Christopher Hill, assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs, on Tuesday to try to advance the six-party talks that have been deadlocked over a delay in the declaration of North Korea's nuclear programs.
The two envoys met in Geneva last month but were unable to work out a complete agreement on the declaration.
