KATHMANDU, April 5 Kyodo
Three bombs went off simultaneously in separate places in Kathmandu late Friday, but there were no casualties, police said Saturday.
Superintendent of Police Pashupati Upadhyay said the blasts occurred in front of an election office, a Maoist office and near the main entrance of the Local Development Ministry at around 8 p.m.
No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
Security has been beefed up in Kathmandu following the blasts.
Nepal is electing a Constituent Assembly on Thursday to cap a peace process with former Maoist rebels whose 10-year insurgency killed over 13,000 people.
