An alumni couple has promised $51 MILLION to MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY (Wis.) to help fund the construction of a new law school facility. Raymond A. Eckstein graduated from the law school in 1949. His wife, Kathryn A. Eckstein, earned a bachelor's there the same year. The gift is the largest ever by individuals to a Wisconsin university.
