The OHIO NORTHERN UNIVERSITY'S Pettit College of Law will receive a $700,000 grant from the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to fund a new program for young lawyers from emerging democracies in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The degree in democratic and legal reforms for foreign lawyers is the first of its kind in the country.
