DR. EARL G. YABOROUGH has been appointed president of Savannah State University (Ga.). Previously, he served at Virginia State University as vice president for academic and student affairs and as a professor of industrial technology. He earned a bachelor's degree at Wichita State University, a master's at California State University at Los Angeles and a doctorate from Iowa State University.
